Birth of an Aurora
filmmaking / camera / vfx
A visual fantasy of the birth of an Aurora Borealis.

About a month ago, I had the opportunity to film a timelapse of the Northern Lights for the first time in my life. The end result was beautiful, but I felt the need to pimp it up and push it further. So I made a hyperlapse from it by mapping the video in C4D.
I realized that this too was not enough. The overall timelapse finally ended up with an Epic 3D journey with flares, hyperlapses, wooosh sfx and a good dose of Tree of Life inspiration.

A big thanks to Pierre Desmarais who composed the music
